SeySo

Privacy Policy

Updated: 1 November 2026

This policy explains how SeySo (“we”), a business in Malaysia, handles personal information in SeySo for users outside Malaysia. It applies to the SeySo app and this website.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run SeySo:

  • Google account: your name, email address and Google account ID when you sign in. We do not receive your Google password.
  • Your content: stories, ideas, notes, captions, uploaded photos and screenshots, logos, fonts, Persona settings and saved posts.
  • Usage: credits, posts and downloads counted against your plan, and error records that help us fix problems.
  • Payments: plan, amount, date and payment reference. Your card details are handled by our payment provider, not stored by us.
  • Technical: your IP address (to limit abuse and new sign-ups) and the cookies listed in section 7.

2. How we use it

To sign you in, write captions, render images, keep your posts, count plan limits, process payments, answer your questions, keep the service secure and improve the quality of the writing. We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not show advertising.

3. AI processing by Google Gemini

When you ask SeySo to write, the text you give and any pictures you choose to send are sent to the Google Gemini API. Text read from screenshots is extracted on our own server first.

Free accounts and trials may use the free tier of the Gemini API. Under Google’s terms, Google may use content sent through the free tier to improve its products, and people may review it. Do not include sensitive personal information (such as ID or social security numbers, health details or other people’s private information) in what you send for writing.

Paid plans use the paid tier. If you add your own Gemini key, Google’s terms for your key apply. If you copy the ready prompt to another AI service yourself, SeySo sends nothing; that service’s terms apply.

4. Photos and metadata

Uploaded photos are re-encoded and their EXIF data and GPS location are removed. Exported images contain no C2PA or other metadata.

5. Who we share it with

Only with the service providers needed to run SeySo, and only for that purpose:

  • Google, for sign-in and Gemini AI processing;
  • our payment provider, for payments;
  • Vultr, our server host in Singapore, which runs the app and stores its database;
  • Cloudflare, which stores your uploaded and saved images;
  • authorities, when the law requires it.

6. International transfers

SeySo is run from Malaysia. The app and its database run on a Vultr server in Singapore, and uploaded and saved images are stored with Cloudflare. Google and our payment provider may process your information in the United States and other countries. These providers protect it under their own security terms. By using SeySo you agree to your information being processed outside your country.

7. Cookies and local storage

SeySo uses only the cookies and browser storage it needs to work. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, so we do not show a cookie banner. This website itself sets no cookies.

  • ss_session (cookie): keeps you signed in. Lasts up to 30 days, or until you sign out.
  • ss_oauth_state (cookie): protects Google sign-in against forged requests. Lasts 10 minutes.
  • ss_oauth_locale (cookie): remembers your language while you sign in. Lasts 10 minutes.
  • Local storage in the app: your language and theme, list or grid view, your last choices in New post, hints you closed, and game saves and scores. Stays in your browser until you clear it.
  • Session storage in the app: a marker that reloads the page once after an update, and a game tab ID. Cleared when you close the tab.
  • Google and our payment provider set their own cookies on their own pages when you sign in or pay; their privacy policies apply there.

8. Do Not Track

SeySo does not track you across other websites, so it treats every visit the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal. No third party collects personal information about your activity over time and across websites through SeySo.

9. How long we keep it

We keep your account and content while the account exists. Moving to a lower plan does not delete data. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your content and personal information within 30 days, except payment records we must keep for tax and accounting (generally seven years under Malaysian law).

10. Security

The service runs over HTTPS. Sessions use secure, random tokens stored as hashes. Personal Gemini keys are stored encrypted. Access to data is limited to what is needed to run and support the service.

11. Reviewing, correcting or deleting your information

You can see and change most of your information in the app. To get a copy of your personal information, correct it, or have your account and data deleted, contact us at sediakan.app@gmail.com. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we answer within 30 days.

12. Children

SeySo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn that a child under 13 has an account, we delete it. Users under 18 need a parent or guardian’s permission to buy a pass.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we tell you in the app before an important change takes effect.

14. Contact

Questions or requests about your information: contact us at sediakan.app@gmail.com.
